My name is Evan Martin. Hi. I can't really justify making a site dedicated to myself, but I guess you're the one who's reading it.

This site is a collection of the things I've made, things I've enjoyed, and things that I hope you find useful.

About the Narrator

I work at Google on making the search engine find pages better. It's good work, and if you are like me I think you would like it.

At school I studied computer science and linguistics. In my free time I write free software, study languages, and the other normal sorts of things people do. Programming comes pretty naturally. I don't expect to ever be good at any human languages but English but the thought doesn't keep me from trying.

I like to think I'm too geeky to ever be considered normal, but balanced enough that I don't qualify as a geek. I try to keep my eyes open.
